Professor Michael Hasler has been Full Professor of Finance at the University of Neuchatel since 2023. Prior to joining the University of Neuchatel, he was Associate Professor of Finance at University of Texas at Dallas from 2019 to 2023, and Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Toronto from 2013 to 2019. His research investigates how information acquisition, disagreement among investors, and learning mechanisms impact investors’ trading strategies and asset prices. He has published in the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Monetary Economics, and Management Science.
