Prof. Emmanuelle Reuter

Full professor in Innovation Management

Biography

Emmanuelle Reuter (Dr. oec. HSG) is full professor of innovation management and Director of the Master of Science in Innovation at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. She holds a PhD in management from the University of St. Gallen. Her research focus lies at the intersection of innovation, strategic management, sustainability and organization theory. She specifically investigates into the cognitive and interpretive dynamics of firms’ responses to regulatory/ technological change and sustainability demands. Her work has been recognized with awards at several occasions at the Academy of Management Meetings and at the Strategic Management Society, as well as with several research grants. She conducted her postdoctoral studies at the University of St. Gallen and a research stay at the University of Massachussets, USA. She consulted regularly and published reports on the private banking, electric utilities and tourism industries, which served as empirical contexts of study. She authored numerous publications in academic/ practitioner outlets as well as teaching case studies. She teaches classes on innovation, strategic management and sustainability to Bachelor, Master students, as well as to executives.
