Clément Duckert (aka The Duke)

Understudied, hyperdiverse, and awesome. That's about all there is to say about protists, and it is exactly why I decided to work on those tiny organisms.

Education

2016 -

PhD on the taxonomy, evolution and ecology of protists, mostly the eugyphid testate amoebae.

2014 - 2016

Master thesis in Biogeosciences: Morphological and molecular taxonomy of Euglypha – Towards a calibration of the molecular clock (Laboratory of Soil Biodiversity, universities of Neuchâtel and Lausanne).

2011 - 2014

Bachelor in biology at the university of Neuchâtel.
