2015 26 January 2015 ; 24 August 2015
2014 27 January 2014 ; 18 August 2014

2010 18 January 2010 ; 16 August 2010
2009 19 January 2009 ; 17 August 2009
The entire content of the Swiss Health Law Review is available in electronic format to Weblaw subscribers (free to those in the Swiss university sector). The two issues also include the Review’s regular contributions (editorials, book reviews, commentaries on jurisprudence, feature articles and bibliographies), and appear annually in the Review’s paper version.
To follow the latest Health Law developments more closely, commentaries on jurisprudence also appear in Jusletter as and when the Courts publish significant new rulings. To this end, the Institute of Health Law counts on the support of a cluster of commentators, who provide knowledge on a range of specialisations.
Equally, succinct commentaries on jurisprudence appear in a database of the Federal Courts’ rulings at www.push-service.ch. Jusletter also publishes jurisprudence commentaries with more detail — including grounds for rulings — as articles.

In 1996, the Institute published the first issue of the San News review — whose complete collection is now available online — which listed the most recent publications of around one hundred legal and medical journals, as well as the latest in jurisprudence and cantonal, federal and international legislation. In its tenth year, the Institute decided to expand its activities, and began to publish the Swiss Health Law Review; like the San News, this was to be released three times per year, but with its content radically revised. While the listing of publications remained important, the new format added feature articles, commentaries on jurisprudence and a column on the latest news.
Until the end of 2006, the Swiss Health Law Review was published three times per year by Médecine & Hygiène. Ten issues were released: 1-7, then 8 (1/2006), 9 (2/2006) and 10 (3/2006). Issue 11 was published by Weblaw in the first trimester of 2008.
With the kind agreement of Médecine & Hygiène, we are happy to announce that previous issues are now freely available at the RERO DOC digital library.

Put together in September 2005 by the cantons de Bern, Fribourg, Jura, Neuchâtel, Valais and Vaud, the information brochure entitled "l'essentiel sur les droits des patients" (The basics on patient rights) has just come out. It offers a summary of patient rights, clarifies the various relevant laws, answers the most frequently asked questions, and lists the addresses of useful organisations. This document, intended for social workers, describes and presents the means by which all people, particularly elders, can be assured that their will be respected, in the case of mental incapacity and/or after death. For information, please contact Pro Senectute Switzerland.
