How to Apply
Admission Conditions
We require our students entering the program to hold one of the following:
- A Bachelor degree issued by a Swiss university
- A Bachelor degree from a University of applied sciences with a solid track record
- A Bachelor degree issued by a non-Swiss recognized university
To apply for the program, you must hold a bachelor degree or be about to complete it. You must also have a good command of English. Your application will be reviewed by an admissions committee.
Note: Graduates in economics, management, or another field of study deemed equivalent or related WILL NOT be eligible for this program.
Tuition Fees
- CHF 515.00 per semester for Swiss residents
- CHF 790.00 per semester for non-Swiss residents
Requirements
We will need the following documents from you for the application:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Transcript of Records
- Application form alongside all documents required.

In addition to the requirements stated in the University's admission page, we also require our applicants to submit the following:
- CV
- Motivation letter
- Recommendation letter/s (not mandatory)
- An interview with the admissions committee (to be determined)
Key dates
Complete application files should be sent by:
- end of February to receive a decision by the end of March (recommended for those requiring a visa)
- end of April to receive a decision by the end of May
- Applications are still possible until the beginning of August (for those who don't require a visa). Please check the admissions page to see if deadline extensions are offered.
Beginning of the program: 3rd week of September

What are the admission criteria for the program?
The program is created and suitable for candidates with no previous studies in economics/management and to facilitate their transition to the job market. Thus no previous working experience is required. Candidates must hold a bachelor degree issued by a recognized university and must have a good level of English. Candidates with a bachelor degree from a University of Applied Sciences with a solid track record are also admissible.

Can I be admitted with a bachelor degree from an HES?
Yes, direct admission is possible but not if the degree is in economics or management. Having a solid academic performance in previous studies is a requirement.

Are GRE/GMAT or any other language test required?
No, these tests are not required.

Can I request for credit transfers?
The program does not require any previous knowledge of economics. Previous courses validated as part of a previous degree cannot be validated. A special request in other cases can be submitted for examination.

Can one be admitted with a learning agreement of preliminary bachelor courses?
The program does not require previous knowledge in economics and therefore does not justify or require any educational contract.

Can one be admitted with a bachelor from the Faculty of Humanities including an Economics or Management minor?
Only if the minor is secondary (42 ECTS)
