Due to climate and population evolution, increased pressure is put on the groundwater resource, which calls for better understanding and models. This thesis focuses on the hydrogeological modeling of the coastal Roussillon aquifer (southern France). The aim of this project is to understand the hydrogeological water system of the region and its interaction with the Mediterranean Sea. The future climatic changes will also be considered since they can create additional stresses on the water resource.
